Contents Restoration Process
We offer content restoration and storage to help our customers get their lives back together following a fire as a service. Our restoration process is extensive and systematic.
1. Evaluation
We need to understand what you want to achieve with your restoration and storage and how we can help you get there. We’ll work closely with you to determine what kind of restoration or storage would be best for the project. We’ll also help you decide whether it makes sense to restore or archive your materials in their original form or if they need to be converted into a digital format first.
2. Packout
Before we start packing up your belongings, we take care to understand exactly what you need to have restored. This includes inventorying all items, photographing them with detailed descriptions, and recording where they came from and their condition before restoration.
Then, we begin the packing process itself. We carefully remove each item from the damaged building or structure and place it into a secure container specifically for contents restoration. We specially design these containers to protect your belongings while being stored on-site or transported to our facility for restoration. We also use temperature control systems in our containers so that your items don’t experience any temperature fluctuations that could cause damage.
After packing up your belongings, we’ll transport them safely to our facility, where they will undergo testing and restoration processes before being returned to you fully restored.
3. Cleaning and Restoration
We start by carefully removing the items from their environment. We then examine each item individually to determine which cleaning method will be most effective. Once our technicians have determined what cleaning method is best for your items, they will begin the cleaning process.
The first step involves removing any loose dirt or debris from the object using specialized tools. Next, our technicians will use a vacuum to remove any remaining dust particles or dirt from the item. After completing this step, we use a special machine to blow out any remaining debris from the cracks and crevices of your item. We then clean each piece by hand using various methods depending on what type of surface you have chosen. Our technicians also use an ultrasonic cleaner to ensure no bacteria remain on your item after cleaning.
4. Packing Back Your Item
Once we’ve completed restoration on every part of your item, we package each part individually in a custom-made box explicitly designed for its size and shape. Then we place all of these boxes into one large box for safe transport back to you.

When you choose us for restoration services, we’ll pack out quickly and store efficiently while you get back on track. We’ll also take pictures of each item to see what’s going on at every step. So if anything is missing or damaged when we return your items, you’ll know exactly where they went.

Inventory Control
We understand that you need to know the status of your belongings at all times, and we can provide you with daily reports on their progress. We also offer monthly or quarterly inspections so that you can rest assured that your items are in good hands.
